Hello, I was yesterday at the Harley dealer in Leipzig to get me new rubber bearings for the Reisers for my 2006 CVO-E-Glide, because actually it would be because my handlebars could move too much back and forth, but after they had taken off the ignition lock and the lining underneath, it turned out, however, that my handlebar broke completely between the Reisers (see photo), someone has already heard of one (or several) comparable cases ? In any case, the dealer’s employee claims that this is an isolated case and I have no chance to get help from Harley, the estimate with a new handlebar for 234.00 Euro and at least 6 hrs. a 80.00 Euro at any rate a huge hole in my budget for the motorcycle for this year, can someone give me a hint, whether and how I can get support from Harley, is probably already a bit strange the whole thing or ? In any case I had with my r Dicken since the beginning of 2008 (I used to buy it with 10 Tkm at the dealer in Kiel and have now only 53 Tkm on the clock) no accident and my cart never fell down, so how can it be that such a handlebar just breaks through?
