Moin, today on the ride from work, both of the above lamps light up at the same time. I stop directly and look into the engine room if there is something striking. Since I don’t see or feel anything eye-catching (it runs as always calmly and accelerates completely normal) I just drove on. After starting, however, only the engine control lights lit up. EPC was out again … I have a little rummaged at Ibiza-Forum.de. I don’t seem to be the only one in which this is It seems that there are no solutions. Supposedly, the error is originally due to the ABS control unit (at least a lot of people in the Ibiza Forum!). The funny thing is: Our car has no ABS … On the culprit: We have the car only about 7 months. So we still have a guarantee. However, the dealer with whom we bought the car is about 50km away. If there is something defective, we have to go to the dealer with whom we have the car. have bought, or can I drive to any VAG workshop and have it done by guarantee or culant (check booklet maintained and only 30000km away !!!) ?
