Hi Opel fans, since I have been discussing with friends about positive and negative sides of the Opel Calibra and Porsche 944, I would like to hear a few opinions from other Opel fans about this. That should not be called now that I want to make the Calibra somehow bad, but should only produce a few opinions. You can compare the vehicles also very well because they are very similar in many things and both vacuum cleaners and turbo variants represented on both models sin d. So in the 944s there are the following models 944: 163Ps/ 205Nm / 0-100 8.4sek / Vmax 220kmh 944S: 190Ps/ 230Nm / 0-100 7.8sek / Vmax 228kmh 944s2: 211Ps/ 280Nm / 0-100 6.8sek / Vmax 240kmh 944turbo: 220Ps/ 330Nm / 0-100 6.3sek / Vmax 245kmh 944turbo s 250Ps/ 350Nm / 0-100 5.9sek / Vmax 260kmh I drive a 944s2 myself and have been driving mostly Transaxel Porsche for years. According to my Opel, the Calibra Turbo is known as the Porsche Scarer. alibras has never met a turbo on my travels yet. At least none of those who were just on the left track. They seem to be kind of rare lately. My Opel fans have some Calibras themselves but only up to the V6 which is a bit sluggish in my opinion. You can give some of your positive experiences about your Calibras for the best. I am also familiar with a story where a grandma who drives a 944 won a bet against a 911 owner. to fit the maximum into a Porsche, the grandma was of the opinion that in the 944 more than twice as many boxes go in as in the 911. The loser would have to pay the boxes which the winner could invite. It is really amazing that she has won so clearly. In the 944s 12 boxes with folded back bench, in the 911s just 6. Had it not believed myself if I had not seen the picture that was made of it itself. The true story is in the book 924-944-968 by Jörg Austen. If this is not even the moral victory for the 944, at least for all beer drinkers….. -Vince-
