Evening @ all. I have already found some information via SUFU but not 100% my request. Furthermore I did not want to dig out an “old thread”. And this is about the following. I got a job offer in Austria, which I will probably accept. Now I have a car, that is registered to my friend, because I did not have a Perso at the time of registration. Since the registration office wanted to have around 70€ for the re-registration (incl. sign, since I have my I just thought I read it that way. That it is not allowed in itself to drive around permanently with a German car in Austria is known to me. If it were theoretically possible that I had the car melted in DE, because my girlfriend “officielL” does not move to AT. If then she is there to visit. Anyway, she would not want to sign off in DE anyway. We or she (but probably we) would be every 7-14 days (on the weekends) She or we (we live together) don’t live in border seas, if that doesn’t matter (700KM away from AT) Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about a tax hindrance, because according to the computer the tax would be about the same. I’m more concerned that the vehicles, as I was told, are simply better insured in Germany. According to the insurance man in AT, there would be no Kasko for a car of my age class. And since my car was not covered in Germany. to really is still in a very good condition, I would of course like a partial cascade. Thank you already in advance!
