Hybrid “Shifting”

Hello! I’ve been driving my new IS 300h for a few weeks now and I noticed a few things about the hybrid drive: The system changes enormously often the “energy management”, i.e. whether the power comes from the electric or petrol engine and whether the battery is charged or not. What I’m surprised is that it is partly adapted and changed in the second cycle depending on the driving situation. Mostly it prefers the electric motor. In addition, the system never allows the battery to fully withstand My question now: Is this frequent “switch” not bad for the hybrid battery and why does it never charge it to 100%? Thank you very much for your answers in advance! Greeting Max
