Hello, have before me a used Seat Ibiza (6L) to buy. During the test drive the climate system did not work, according to the dealer it was empty and was now filled up. Now it is the case that the problem with the climate system is not an undescribed leaf with this generation. I am right in assuming that if I now are detected after the purchase further defects (e.g. cooling liquid is leaking too quickly or climate compressor or valve defective), the dealer but then (at least within the first 6 months) should stick to it or have to improve it? And what about excessive oil consumption? In these years of construction, it should often happen that extreme oil consumption (e.g. 1L to 1tkm) should occur, e.g. by worn piston rings. Since I will drive about 2.5tkm in 2 weeks immediately after the purchase, I could find this out relatively quickly. Should then also the dealer be responsible for this? Although the piston ring is a wearer, however, I can after 2 weeks already say that this lack was already present at the purchase? Thank you murda187
