Hello, I have retrofitted an Android radio and would like to retrofit a suitable rear-view camera. I got an overview of what there is basically for cameras. I’m not sure how and where I should install the camera. Each possibility has advantages and disadvantages and I would rather not drill holes to find out that it was the wrong place. Has someone already retrofitted a camera here and can say something about the individual aspects? -Installer t: tailgate under logo, in the area of registration plate/marking lamp, in the rear spoiler. Where is the view best or if necessary bad? – Can the cables be properly threaded through the rubber sheaths into the tailgate or is it too tight? – Is the rear pole demountable so that the nut can be tightened inside, or is it glued? – How do you seal the camera when it is mounted with a hole in the tailgate? All cameras are delivered without seal. I would use a rubber seal. imatte cut, but have worry that it is not permanently tight or that the seal is brittle with time. – Mounting on the bumper: where is the cable led outwards and above all: how is the bore permanently sealed? Thank you for every tip greeting, Martin
