Dear A7 friends, I would like to share my experience with you today. I configured my A7 3.0 Biturbo in March 2013 and picked it up at my Audi dealer in May 2013. Since then I have moved the vehicle 25,000km. Before that I would like to give a few more information, which may make it understandable why my previous interim judgment is as bad as it is.That’s me: – 30 years young – Previous vehicles: Audi A4 2.0 TFSI with 200hp, Ford Focus 2.0 with 130hp – best previous vehicles next to the A7: Porsche Cayman R with 330hp (since mid-2011) – Main use: Business It was important to me that… – …I get a beautiful & elegant car – …I have good performance under the hood – …I still achieve an acceptable fuel consumption (therefore no S7) – …I can travel comfortably Specs / features to the A7: – Engine: 3.0 TDI Biturbo with 313hp – S-Line Inside – S-Line Outside – Outer colour: Black – Seats: S7 – Decor elements: Black high gloss – Wheels: 20″ (winter & summer, see pictures – is the winter rim on it) – MMI® Navigation plus with MMI touch® (The large Navi) – Adaptive Suspension Air suspension suspension (air suspension) – Active Lane Assist – Audi Breaking Guard – Side-Assist (dead angle Warner) – adaptive cruise control with stop & go function (tempomat with control distance automatic) – LED headlights – ambient lighting – driver information system with 7-inch colour display – parking aid Plus – came Ra-based speed limit indicator – 4 zones Automatic climate control – …other little things… I cluster my summary according to the most important aspects and forgive 0 to 5 points per section (0 bad, 5 super): a) Optics & Perception b) Motor & Dynamics c) Safety features However, I would like to write a few features a bit more detailed because I am dissatisfied here: Audi-Breaking Guard: I have completely exhibited. It’s too tricky for me without the danger. Dates in the workshop still have to be determined. Camera-based speed limit indicator: I feel that this is a bad joke to be honest. I would never take it again. Does not work in say 10% of the cases. I had often for example at the speed 100 in the display although 60 was allowed. There you really lose the trust (and maybe the driver’s license). Active Lane Assist: Would I never take it again. I’m crazy when the steering wheel is “working against me”. I never had the feeling that this assistant relieves me – it’s more stressful for me. That’s why the part is always set up. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go: Puuuh, unfortunately, also annoys me extremely. Example: You drive 140 on the highway, someone drives 120 in front of you…my car starts to brake…and indeed BEFORE I brake (I’m not a Rowdy and I know you can adjust that). But since I’m only slightly faster than the previous one, I’m going to be a pain in the nerves on the left lane at the same time because it takes me a long time to get past it. The solution? Operate the accelerator —> And that’s ANDAUERND. I’m stressed out. My A4 just had a cruise – 140 in and it drove 140 until I braked – that was great. Now I have the feeling again On request with Audi if you could display the distance control automatic came only one – NO. Very very bad. Think of the case as it is when someone in front of you drives off the highway….that might be annoying To Stop&Go: I’ve never been a friend of. Makes now even Porsche, I can live with it, but I feel somehow also not pleasant that always the engine on and exits and therefore use the “OFF” switch quite often. In summary: – I have tried a lot of features – many of them I wouldn’t buy anymore because the car takes too much control – I feel otherwise but very safe in the vehicleI forgive: 3/5 points Thanks to the readers who have held it down here.
