Late switching times – general problem?

I noticed with my Dicken (V6 TDI with 239 hp) that it is switching very late. It is meant that the gearbox still remains relatively long in the smaller gear, despite its extremely quiet driving mode on a flat track and reaching the speed sufficient for a certain gear. So I don’t mean the sporty turning out of gears or staying in the small gear at high speeds, if one is just a little more “sporty” on the road. For example, it keeps the 4th gear in at speed 60 relatively long, although the 5th would be easy enough. Only after about 15 seconds is switched on. The same applies to the 6th gear, which would be called from speed 80. – The fifth gear usually stays up to 90 km/h, if one does not intervene manually. Even more striking is this symptom if one activates the tempomates. If then the fourth gear is accelerated from 60 to 100, the 4th gear is rotated up to almost 100 km/h. Is this such a VW Woh-Weh-Weh-Wehchen is exactly the same as a Touran 2.0 TDI with DSG, but the second gear has been hit by DSG.
