Hello guys, it’s time, a new car has to come… My A3 8p 1.6 FSI is unfortunately scrap after an accident 🙁 I want a used VW or an Audi again. I’m torn back and forth when I read all the problems of the 1.4s and 1.8s related to the control chain, piston rings, oil consumption. Therefore, a question, which engines with which character letters and from which year of construction are recommended? Can also be older models/engines. Thanks for your help 🙂
