Hello, I’m new to the forum here and signed up here because I did a test drive with a Streetka today. With this Streetka, which is very interesting in price, there is only one problem: Lt. information from the seller lights up the engine control light at irregular intervals. The previous owner had this problem already and during the test drives, which were carried out in the last 3 – 4 weeks with the car, the engine control light lit up once and In our 20-minute test drive today, the lamp – except of course when starting – did not light up at all! Lt. Statement of the seller after lighting up the indicator lamp the errors were read out, but there was no error documented at all! Thus, it can not be determined what it is! Otherwise the car was completely normal, the engine sounded normal and it was not otherwise to be felt jerking or anything else. We are of course not sure whether we should buy this car or not. As I have already read here in the forum, this seems to be somehow a Ford disease, with the control lights. And even with known error messages, the problem can’t seem to be solved. How is it then in my case, where the lamp lights up, but no error is recorded? Often it should be the Lambda probe or the cat, but the car got new TÜV and AU in April. So that doesn’t seem to be the problem. Maybe someone can give me advice here in the forum or maybe have the same problem. Thank you!
