I have a Ford Escort 16l 16V Bj 93 and have always had a consumption of 7.5L never above 8L. Since 3 tank fillings I am now at 9L consumption. I also noticed that the engine temperature rises only slowly from the cold range, and usually only slightly rises into the standard range. Does anyone know the problem? Maybe a thermostat/thermo switch or something defective? If yes, where is this and how does one check it? cu sammy
