Meal, we want to buy a used Yaris XP13 (BJ ca. 2014-2019) with 1.3 VVTi. I looked at some vehicles and had to notice a lot of rust in most cases – at the drum brakes at the rear (partly completely rusted), but also very often in the engine compartment. See pictures in the appendix. There was only one exception where it looked “like new” in the engine compartment, although BJ 2016 and almost 60,000 km on it. What can it be about?
