Tyre change with or without rims?

Hello guys. I have a 2012 SLK 55 AMG and am currently thinking about whether I should get complete bikes for the winter or rather just the tyres (i.e. two times a year tires down from the rims and back on them). Now some will say: Sure, complete wheels, is much easier etc.. The problem is that the rims for the AMG are very expensive and I therefore consider whether there is not a reasonable alternative solution. By the way, steel rims can be forgotten, there are I was last at the Mercedes dealer, he made me a “special offer” for complete bikes: limp 3000€. There I get 3-4 tire sets for! In addition, I find that the offered rims do not necessarily fit so well with my car optically (felt light grey, car white with black accents, well). At the moment I have black rims and find them great, only such rims would cost me 350€ + tires. Then I also have myself with various tyre dealers on the topic of Kompl There is the problem, that it is very difficult to come to suitable rims, since the AMG is already a rather rare car. And even if you find suitable rims, the question arises to me: Is it really reliable on these rims? After all, the car is able to build up a huge torque and drives 280 km/h max. There you do not want to risk a break or otherwise in the middle of the highway. Therefore I would like to ask the experts among you if it is wise to It would always be only with one set of rims to drive and to always get the tires new, balanced out etc.. How strong are the tires damaged? I heard, some people do that. Greetings Andy
