Caravan damaged when ranking a cabin, who is liable?

We bought a caravan on a campsite a few weeks ago, which was supposed to be away from there. Since everything was quite tight there, we had to pull the caravan out by hand and then maneuver through an alley, rather steeply downhill. On this slope we unfortunately took up a little too much drive, until I was at the brake, the caravan touched a small corner of a hut. I have not yet spoken to the owner, only a note there was At the bottom we put the caravan on the road, as far as everything was done and then waited for about half an hour for a work colleague, who then hooked him up and drove him to our home. I plan to pay for the damage from my own pocket, but if he is too high, I would report him to an insurance company, the question is only What? In principle, it would be the insurance of the towing vehicle with the trailer?! But the towing vehicle was not there yet and in principle we were the “pullers”. My own car liability should also fall away, since I do not have a trailer coupling at the moment. I will call tomorrow at the insurance of the 5-day registration marks and describe the whole thing, but would still be grateful for some help! Thank you already!
