Hello, I got my new Audi A4 in March. No 3 months later at a little over 9000 km I stood in the thickest hail and was allowed to listen how the hail hit me numerous dents in the car – except for the tailgate and the plastic parts are now everywhere dents – even on the chrome trims on the windows. Yesterday the expert commissioned by the insurance company was there, and estimates the damage at 6800 euros (incl. VAT). The “light repair” was taken into account by Out and a complete renewal of the bonnet, whereby however follow-up costs were left open by the impacts on the columns, which can not always be completely squeezed out (pronounce a repainting with spatula etc. was not excluded). I am insured with the R+V24 and have a tariff with workshop binding and new value replacement regulation. So far I was in a workshop specified by the insurance for the first review, and yesterday was the expert of the Versicht more has not yet happened, even though the damage occurred on 05.06.2016. The paintr master from the first workshop gave me the tip to try to change the car – i.e. apply the new value replacement regulation and assign the damaged to the insurance and receive a new car. I don’t know at all and would be happy if I could get a few tips or experiences here, how to proceed. Thanks and b esten Greeting Patrick
