Moin. A few Newbie questions from someone who doesn’t know the matter at all, so please excuse me if this might have been chewed through more than once. I got a soundboard and two power amplifiers and built into my Golf-3-variant. Included are two Magnat bass speakers of just over 30 cm and two 3-way speakers from Sony. One power amplifier provides 4×250 W and supplies the bass-LS. The other 2x150W for the Sony-LS (I don’t know now, must I’m looking up). The whole thing is connected via chinch cable to the radio. In the front are still mid-/ tweeters in the dashboard, which are supplied directly by the radio. The following questions about this: 1)The power stages have two different filters installed, but this does not bring satisfactory results. Why are the things good? From the basses comes mainly “sound porosity”. Does a crossover make sense here? Or can a box be unscrewed? 2) The power stage has the specified e 4x 250W, bridgeable, so brittle. How do you “break” that? Just like the bass-LS are connected now, namely quite normal as “Real-Left” and “Real-Right”, they get them only 250W each, do I see that right? Oh yes: Please no great tips now, what I should buy and install everything. I want to plug in as little money as possible and I am not a great sound fetishist either. A strong, clean bass is enough for me to be happy. Thank you.
