Ignition contacts burn through all the time!

Dear mt ́ler, my Chevy Bel Air Sedan (built in 1964, 6-cylinder small block) really gives me a lot of pleasure. However, there is a huge problem, which obviously also my specialist workshop for US-Olftimer (Car Connection Braunschweig, with which I am otherwise very satisfied) does not get under control: In the course of an engine overhaul, all ignition components were also renewed at my request, as there are spark plugs, ignition cables, ignition coils, ignition distributors and contacts. And now the following happens all the time: The car runs about 300 – 400 km really great, starts both cold and hot spontaneously and is therefore actually fully suitable for everyday use. Then, however, it starts to go out more and more often, both in idling and during the ride, and then immediately starts again. However, the whole thing repeats itself more and more often and increases up to false ignitions. The cause are then every time smeared Zü ndkontakte. These have already been renewed for the third time (!), including the capacitor, which is in the ignition distributor. To the ignition coil it is to be said that the old original “Delco” was first used and then – in the hope that it would be the cause – it was replaced with a new one. But the problem still exists. Does anyone know advice? Already now a “Thank you” for tips and your time!
