Hello, for a long time I have been reading with you in the forum and I find this somewhat higher “level” here more enjoyable than in the BMW Forum. About 5 years ago my purchase decision fell in favour of BMW, really let go of me still not after a test drive at that time. Now I think again which car I should buy. After the future of Saab is saved, I would tend to return to the 9-5 Aero. Here my questions: Can one assume that the oil problem (slurrying by excessive heating, etc.) with the now delivered models is constructively fixed? Or would it be better to wait for the facelift model, since here it would be assumed that the engine problem has been solved (independently from the other disadvantages such as lower serial equipment)? Still a personal comment to the discussion “Hubraum (6-Zylinder) contra turbocharging”, which I can not deny: I could not recognize at that time a big difference to the running culture of the two engines. For the average car driver, however, it would not be possible to give up the more of a six-cylinder practice.
