Hello dear motor friends, I am looking for a car for 1000€ as mentioned in the topic. The price is considered the maximum and I would be happy about every saved €uro for insurance and registration. This is my first car purchase so I ask for a little understanding if I ask stupid questions. I was advised to describe my wishes and requirements exactly… so: I am 25 years and have already gained a lot of driving experience with the second car of my parents. I don’t care about the look (cratters, bumps, paint etc.). I prefer a German car because I think the spare parts there are a bit cheap and easy to get (let me convince myself of something else). I can handle tools and the installation of certain parts should be feasible for me. The car should be used mainly for short distances (shopping, cinema etc.). But occasionally I want to use it in d I would be very happy about a spacious car because I am very big. A combi would be ideal due to the possibilities of use. From my budget it is probably obvious that the fuel consumption should be kept within limits. Again summarized: 1000 €, 10,000 km a year, mainly short distance, appearance no matter, consumption low.
