Hello from Austria! my original radio (Mercedes Spezial) in the 500SL (R129) unfortunately slowly gives up the spirit. Now I am looking for a suitable replacement. I would actually have a Becker Grand Prix 7990 in mind, that should fit from the design to the SL. Can someone recommend something to me? Or does someone have experience with the Becker Radio, or does anyone know if the original installed CD changer fits the new Becker Radio, the original Mercedes Radio is as far as I know also a Becker?
