CV D-Cat 177 HP gear damage

Hello, wanted to tell you how the friendly Toyota dealer reacted to my problem above. I drive a D-Cat, year 03/2007 with 138,000 km, in which a massive transmission damage was diagnosed. First a repair price of 1,200,- € was stated. After a more detailed diagnosis the costs were estimated at net 3.600,- €. On my question, whether this is covered by the two-year warranty, I was told there that the vehicle 100,000 km mileage was above Question: Can Toyota so easily override a legal regulation? The outrageous question about culant was rejected. I had bought the car from this dealer and had all the maintenance carried out there. The call at Toyota Germany showed that Toyota would have admitted itself to a culant. However, I was informed that the application had to be made by the dealer and that the dealer had to make the request. The dealer was again rejected by the dealer. Then I told the dealer that I wanted to sell the car privately without repair. So I had him picked up and abei was handed over to me an invoice of 450,- € for troubleshooting. In the meantime I had the car repaired by my “village screwdriver” for 2,500,- €.
