Hi, after heavy rain I notice that it gets wet in the back of my escort (bj. ’95) (i.e. the cover was removed because I hardly need the trunk anyway). Now in winter moisture is of course not very good; today the whole disk was completely fogged in the back; I wanted to ask if you know the means that you can use well for sealing; unfortunately I can not say exactly how large the leaks are; but it will always be very slightly damp with very heavy rain, so I don’t think it’s very large places. I was at the hardware store today and found different things that would be suitable in theory; on the one hand, typical joint sealers (such as silicone), then such an aluminium product (which also had something of a car) and “car chip” (where I couldn’t really see from the packaging whether this can also be used for sealing or whether it’s more about levelling and What would you recommend?
