I need the DSG because of my disability in the left leg, because I cannot use the clutch reasonably. Since I drive 80% in a big city, the question is whether the 1.8 is not too much fuel compared to the 1.4 Is it possible to use about 8 litres for the 1.8 DSG? It is also important for me to maintain the durability of the engine (and in the case of 1.4, that of the DCC) because I want to keep the vehicle for more than 5 years – rather 8+ years.
