Dear forum members! I plan to buy an XC70 D5 AWD Geartronik BJ 2009. He has already managed almost 270,000 km and I wonder if you can buy such an elk. He is service-kept, a detailed repair history of the Volvo workshop is available to me. I am rather a little driver. I only come to approx. 10,000 km per year. In 10 years I am then at 370,000 km and then it is a more typical running performance for a VOLVO, right? I already have a 25-year-old VW T3 with very little km. But I still have to repair something again. I just like this car. I know that I have to reckon with the one or the other repair. But the car still costs 15,000,- and a total failure or engine damage would be fatal of course. Should I rather spend 5000,- more and buy one with less running power? Since I would buy the vehicle from a Volvo dealer and thus I also have warranty, the short-term risk keeps in limits. But in 12 months the least I don’t have a kilo?
