Hello, for my G55 vacuum cleaner from 2001 I am looking for a good tire with an off-road focus. Of course, the BFG AT or MT are close to that. Five years ago I had already looked for an A/T tire suitable for everyday use for my G500 year 2015 and decided for the BFG AT KO2, namely in the series size, i.e. 265/60/18. After two weeks I took the tires down again and since then they have been lying around because they vibrated between 80 and 110 unpleasantly. My MB-NDL has d After the two weeks I switched to Yokohama Geolandar G015 and remained true to the tire on some cars to this day. But for heavier terrain it is not particularly good. Just a little over a year ago I bought above all G55 AMG suction cup from 2001, which has mounted 285/60/18 BFG AT KO2. Also here light vibrations already after purchase on the return drive the according to trusted seller tirevol I then asked my MB-NDL to rebalance and get the last unbalance out. Result: Bader than before. I was complaining and was there in the second rebalance – the wheels were balanced to zero, but the steering wheel still vibrates between 80 and 110, after that it gets better again. Long speech, short sense: With two different Gs and two different tire dimensions I have bad experiences with the BFG ATs in each case. 8. I would be very surprised if neither the G-professional, with whom I bought the 55s, nor the MB-NDL and also our tyre service were to be unable to balance BFG-ATs. Did you have your own experience? Is that just “normal” with the ATs? And are the MTs even worse due to the coarser profile? Background: I want a remote-accessible tire, which is at least similar to BFG AT, better yet similar to MT and NOT vibrating. I tend here to the dimension 265/75/16 or 285/75/16, but by no means would like this unpleasant driving behavior. Perhaps one of you has experiences and tips, would help me very much! Thank you.
