Here is a guide to disassemble an outside mirror into its components without rotting it: 1. Gently the mirror glass outwards (in Pfe) 3. After the mirror is outside, pull off the cable shoes of the mirror heater and put the mirror aside (picture 3). 4. Unlock the 4 screws of the black frame (marked in blue) and gently squeeze the 4 clips (marked in red) of the rear plastic shell.
