Hello. Unfortunately I have the problem that the handbrake hangs at the rear right side of my Phaeton 3.0 TDI Bj. 2005 recently. Error message in the display: “Resolve parking brake” The train on the rear right is too tight, so that the saddle cannot spring back to its starting position. (see picture) If you release the handbrake, the rope only releases about 3 mm. The left side works perfectly, here the spring is stretched less far, see picture. I also hung the rope on the saddle and e If you use the lever on the saddle by hand (without rope), it springs back, but not completely into the final position, it is missing about 3mm. Can you adjust the hand brake ropes or where is the error to look for? That the saddle does not fully spring back into the final position without rope is possibly a result of the rope to be tightened? Thanks and Lg.
