The coupling rod for level control at the front left had dissolved at the lower end, the thickness reported “error level workshop” and was wrong. As is well known, the coupling rod is not available individually from VW, but also the combination with the sensor is no longer available from VW. So I bought such a combination on Ebay and the local BOSCH workshop commissioned the part to be installed. They also did this and the car is now standing straight. But the faults Eldung still appears in the display and I can no longer set the level to “high”. They explain to me that they did not manage to remove this error from the error memory (control unit locked) and suggested that I should stop by at VW for error erasure. I had the hope that the error disappears after a short drive, but the 1.5km drive from the workshop to home did nothing.
