Hello Volvo driver, for a short time my S80 has had a relatively loud cracking in the range of the right drive shaft, drive shaft joints, wheel mount (at least in this area). This happens when I park for example and set back and forward. If I drive backwards, there is a unique cracking. If I then switch into the first gear and let the clutch come, it cracks again. It feels as if there is a certain game in the drive train. At least this reports my highly sensitive popometer. The cracking occurs also in this context of the advance and reset. Otherwise there is peace of mind. First investigations showed that the tap of the drive shaft in the wheel hub should be used again with Loctite. However, it should not be worrying (so the master of my Volvo workshop). Can anyone share this experience or even confirm it? Greeting to all Volvo enthusiasts S-eighty
