Hello to the Volvo forum, I am about to buy my first car (budget: 7000 €) and after a long time decided for a Volvo V50 2.0D. Since I am an absolute layman in terms of cars, I first talked to numerous acquaintances about what they generally think of Volvo etc… The quintessence was, rather take something “solid”, i.e. Mercedes,Audi, VW. Well, when I then made it clear that I am not the type for said brands and this was also of the Desig I didn’t really find it appealing (how nice is the V50 from the outside, let alone from the inside!), I went to the search. It was clear that it should be a diesel (the 2.0 should be very solid). Now I found a place at the friendly gravel dealer next door….
