Which brake fluid (DOT3 or DOT4) I need for Chrysler Sebring Cabrio JR 2.7 from 2001

Hello together, I’m quite new here and I think it’s best to introduce myself briefly. I’m Heinrich, 56 years young and for 3 years I’m also a very satisfied owner of a Chrysler Sebring Cabrio JR V6 from 2001. Unfortunately, I’m not a screwdriver and have very little technical understanding besides two left hands. Therefore, I always get information here in order to visit a workshop for maintenance (repairs were not necessary 🙂 not to be completely delivered. I make a change of every 4500 – 5000 KM with Castrol 5W 30 and a holiday check I leave for 25€ every year at ATU, that is my kind of inspection. Some work, so far it was only tires, cooler hose after a marten visit, brakes, HU etc., but I have to do in a free workshop and not at ATU. Now to my problem, the brake fluid has to be changed and I am not sure which brake fluid I should approve. I have read that DOT 4 for ABS brakes is the right one, but there are also Chrysler drivers who say DOT 3 must be used, that has something to do with the brake calipers at the Sebring. Since I don’t want to rely on the workshop (the master himself says that he can’t do much on the car, because he has not yet screwed on , that too) and I could not find any clear information in the WWW, I wanted to ask here if someone can help me. Date n from the Fzg. Schein: Daimler Chrysler Sebring Cabrio, JR, 203 PS First registration 2001 Thank you and sorry that I can not contribute to this great forum myself. Best regards from Frankfurt (Oder) Heinrich P.S. if someone knows a good competent workshop for the Sebring near Frankfurt (Oder) I would be very happy. The workshop can be both in D or in Poland, I don’t have any prejudices. Unfortunately, for years all the workshops that have hit me have been shaking. The current one is at least honest in my opinion and the master asked ist dat ne Sebring ??? Was the first one who knew what I was driving ……
