Hello together, To my situation, I bought a used Golf4 a few days ago, because my old 3er would not have come through the TÜV anymore… Well so far so good, with the 4er I still ride the winter tires at present. The previous owner however gave me the summer tires with the mentioned BBS rims with it. I have not changed these yet, because these (I am Laie) have funny paint damage on the outer rings. The rims are actually great in order But, this outer ring doesn’t look very nice. Now my question, what are these for paint damage on the rim and can you fix it relatively cheaply? (Bin poor apprentice :-)) And can you drive the rims confidently on? Achso and the latter when looking at the ring I noticed that there is a kind of transparent foil over it and under this foil are these peculiar damages. Should you remove the foil better? Sorry For the long text but I don’t have any information about this. wanted to tell you this as exactly as possible 🙂 I’m adding photos of every rim. I’m very grateful for any help. Thank you
