Good morning, as an entrance post I have an unusual idea. So, my girlfriend drives a 2008 Volvo C30 and I a 2007 BMW Z4. Since we are both working, we need both cars regularly. The Volvo drives itself great in the snow, the Z4 less, especially parking and parking is not easy because it quickly slips away. Besides, I’m quite pimply with my BMW and it doesn’t like driving it in this sour weather. It’s just too bad for me. We don’t, but I would have one that I could have for free, about 50km away. Now I’m thinking if I should buy us another car for the snow. It should just drive and be cheap, look…no matter, because if there is no snow, I drive anyway with the Z4. As a (poor) student I had a Marbella as the first car. Somehow I find the idea sweet to buy this a few weeks a year as a winter car to put the BMW in the garage. Is that useful or that the Oh so, please no tips like “Buy your all-wheel jeep for the winter”, because the third car must be cheap, the first two were expensive enough. More than 1000€ should not cost the third car, better so about 500€ and it should be cheap in maintenance. LG
