Programming on-board power supply control unit/error memory?

I have the following problem: My standlight function no longer works out! I have to help myself with the disconnecting of the battery to get it out!!! The switch is top, all connected lamps too! The direct question: Is Audi as good as the service employee claimed today and can read directly into the power supply control unit and recognize errors? I suspected that it is just a defective in the control unit… no matter if you stick off the light switch or whole headlights mmt…it continues to glow..so license plate lighting, rear lights and standlight in the headlights…the instrument lighting of course also. And if tomorrow does not come out there I don’t know any further… can then only tap on a marten damage because we have a problem with it in the street at the moment…maybe a cable eats what is now on mass or something.. But: does the on-board power steering grenade have a fault memory at all and can it be deleted? What is t a realistic price for such a then probably time-intensive reading..? Thank you
