Hello, first of all to the history of my project I am a big rally fan and drive for 2 years a subaru impreza , because that but swallows too much gasoline in the long run I am looking for a light vehicle with as little technology as possible snap. And also in the new Subaru I got too much technology , therefore I thought of a dacia sandero 1.6 (After the new regulations have the Rally cars at the WRC yes also nen 1.6 Turbo Motor ). after tunes above all I wanted to have a turbo retrofitted. So now to my actual questions: 1.How much power can I get out without the engine too big to damage? (seen the Astra turbo brings from a 1.6l 180hp,so I would have agreed) or must a 1.6 16v in there you can get out more or? 2.With so much more power I will need another gearbox or? If yes there is one of nem clio sports or something like that? 3.Is it better to take a universal turbo kit or Is it better to take the turbo with all the components of a 2.0 l engine from renault and modify it?Or even the one from the Dacia 1.6l diesel engine that has also nen turbo?(Sry knows me with turbochargers ned so from ^^) 4. Does anyone know any workshop specializing in turbo retrofitting because I think the registration at the TÜV will not be easy or ? 5.What do you value it to upgrade the sandero to turbo with tuv ,gear and everything (drives etc.) Before complaints come I took the Renault forum with the intention because in the Dacia of my knowledge Renault parts are installed and the normal Dacia drivers don’t have so much to do with performance tuning I think.
