Hello, one of the smaller interference factors at the Ignis (no one is perfect!) is the permanent operation of the rear wiper. I don’t know that and I don’t see any sense in it, and the shape of the car leaves the disc free for a relatively long time anyway. Now I’ve stumbled over such a (unopened!) 60s car accessories part from beetle times – a adjustable wiper interval relay for screwing under the dashboard According to the instructions, it’s even designed for 12V, i.e. relative (!) modern. It even has a wiper water pump connection – well it doesn’t have to be mandatory. But now the question is: where and how could I put the thing as minimally invasive as possible? The intended installation with the sheet metal angle and 2 spax is not in question anyway, but the blind blinds at the bottom left would be inexpensive to replace and close to the safety box. I just don’t know if all the pipes are arriving and can be detected. Since the regulation will only be adjusted at the beginning anyway, It wouldn’t matter if you couldn’t get any more (so because of me in the engine compartment or in the tailgate – the latter would give you enough space and free access to the engine, but probably no longer any increase in duration?). Ultimately, the simple connection decides (preferably with intermediate plugs on existing connections, so without cable destruction). I just have no idea where this could be located… I’m open to ideas
