Driven this mileage from the first registration until mid-2010. After that, the Volvo stood until mid-2014 and was not moved. So 4 years of service. I have changed all liquids so far, except for the transmission oil. This is according to Volvo change-free. But because the car stood so long and I do not know how it was driven before, I would like to do the change. I left a little oil to judge the condition yesterday. On the picture on the left is the drive oil from the Volvo. On the picture on the right is the new Dexron III (Attention: does not fit for this transmission. Here only to compare the color). How do you find the color? Should I change the whole oil (about 8L)? Is not enough in this case also a partial oil change (about 4L) and then in 30 to 60 km again? Would you take a mannol/Ravenol or expensive Castrol?
