Hello everyone, last week with my Hyundai H1 (Baujahjr 2009, 170hp) at the DEKRA and I promptly failed at the HU test. In addition to several minor defects, an exhaust-relevant error (code P0489) was also detected, whereby the car also got no AU. The workshop (a free workshop) thinks it is most likely the AGR valve. The workshop wants to install a new one. For changing the valve and changing the seal turbocharger engine (it oiled a we nig) the workshop wants to have 250 € without any material alone. Is this such a huge effort to change the AGR valve? I am currently pretty bad to talk to the workshop, since alone the elimination of the smaller defects (deathlight setting, lever path of the hand brake set, error memory read out, check where the oil waste came from and mount 4 summer bikes) came to 190 €. Long Reder short sense, the price for changing the valve stands in a reasonable proportion to the Au or should I just look for a new workshop? By the way, the car has about 88,000 km down, a warning light has never been used, and I also feel no changes in the driving or acceleration behaviour with the supposedly/probably defective valve.
