Hello, today I was once again with my parents, who want to buy now a 4×4 combi. They drive so far Ford Focus, because of a very steep garage exit they always hang out. at the very front in the selection is now a Skoda Octavia Combi 4×4 Although I am also Subaru-enthusiast, I have really marveled what Skoda has to offer – and Subaru just not as there are: – ESP – Xenon (extra charge) – Euro 4-standard !!! – Light Assistant – a large selection of paint paints – Tur bodiesel (but it’s supposed to be a gasoline engine) the Octavia comes in the already well-equipped 4×4 version with additional metallic, EFH rear, seat heating, radio remote control, air conditioning and Xenon on a list price of 26,670 EUR. With a similarly expensive Legacy 2.0 missing o.g. features, especially ESP and Euro 4 are already mandatory nowadays ! There will probably be some who consider a Subaru purchase after all. Of course, Subi also has advantages, for example the Hillholder or dual range, that are already unique selling features… or Japanese reliability… But it still doesn’t help anything…. Then I can understand my father, who simply doesn’t want to miss ESP or the Euro 4 standard in a 25,000 EUR car, he will also order the xenons…
