Dear friends, from Jux I recently polished two parts of my car (coat wing in front left and driver door with A column) by hand with a SONAX polish sponge and a pair of drops of 3M polish. The car is scratched DERART that the obsidian black actually looks more like road bait grey. I think the previous owner drove the Rally Dakkhar weekly. Anyway, I was a bit overwhelmed by the result. I didn’t polish for long. About 5 minutes per part and the Gla nz is not of this world. You could put the car back in the sales hall. No matter how I held my lamp against the paint, it was not a single micro-swirl to see anymore. And I repeat, the paint is actually as finished with the world as it can be. But that’s not enough. I have a suspicion. Maybe you can say something. After polishing I just gave a little fog of water to the polished parts around the polit The water has beaded! Like after a laundry with wax seal. Even a few days later (today it rains for example) the water still drains. Now my question is: is this all with the oh so great polish result maybe only an illusion? Are in the polish maybe just waxes or similar contain that fills up the scratches for a certain time and the illusion of a great polish gives itself but after a few weeks/months again washed out? Or ha t the one with the other nothing to do and the polish was actually a hit, even if the pearling properties will wash out soon?
