Mini (BJ from 2005) drive until it falls apart?

Hello, you (beneficial) mini-drivers! I drive a Golf2 GTI, BJ 1990, 290tkm. I got the picker again without any problems. I’m not a mechanic or hobby screwdriver, but I don’t have two left hands and with repair guide I can help myself sometimes. So I had to install a new starter last week. As you can see on the BJ, I drive a car until it gets the pickerl, or until a repair exceeds the real achievable residual value. (which is now already on the rise again, as I also take from the card, which is jammed every few weeks behind the disc 🙂 ) . Now my question: Is the mini under BMW-direction, also such a car, where you can write off the purchase costs for a duration of 20 years from EZ without having to fear exponentially growing repair costs? And what about the self-making, with the vehicle? And how with spare parts in the replica? At the golf this is simply w Understandable, because after 20 years you get everything with every car butcher. With the GTI it gets a bit more difficult, but it is still in the green area (the swapped starter was from a used GTI and the recycler has for it “give me what you believe” demanded). I fear that this will be quite different with the Mini, right?
