Car polishing as a beginner

Hello guys I don’t really know about car care and no real idea about polishing. The last years my car has a Golf 6 (Lack Pearl Black I mean but I can check again if that’s true) very little care seen at least briefly in the car wash. Now I wanted to do my car something good (and maybe the cars of friends) and have a bit of something to do at the moment. Since I am due to another Hobb ys (shrines) have bought a Festool Rotex 150 of which I have heard many times that this ideal (just for beginners) is suitable to polish cars through the simultaneous turning and eccentric movement. Now before I read into the whole topic in detail a few questions if my thoughts are going in the right direction and the whole can be realized at all. I hope that the polish looks like new (okay quite so great he doesn’t have to and that water gets dirt etc. better off, these ideas are realistic and what other advantages if there are still which ones has the polishing of cars? Is it possible for me as a beginner with craftsmanship to polish my car with the Rotex and get satisfactory results at the same time? What are absolute no go’s when polishing I still have no idea (e.g. do not polish the headlights) Do the costs for the equipment of the polisher I already have the Rotex, I had planned for all the polishing accessories so Pi times thumb 100€ is realistic? I would be happy about a few answers to my thoughts.
