The gear wheel on the crankshaft has torn the hold wedge and also damaged the groove from the gear wheel. Now it turns out that my wonderful previous owner, as a replacement engine no T3 engine has been installed again and the current one is not to be identified. This previous owner is of course no longer to be reached, to ask him simply what type of engine he has installed. Unfortunately, no engine identification number can be found, which drives me slowly into madness. Both my workshop of trust, as well as VW Autohaus have capitulated… It was a 1.6 TD JX installed before and diesel pump and all the attachments are probably still the old ones. Maybe someone can help me with the pictures to identify the engine. I have ordered now 5 gear wheels, which have not fit all.
