Hey, I’m looking for a used diesel on behalf of my girlfriend, who takes her to work every day 67km and 67km back home. If you don’t add work paths you’re at 40,000km a year. The car should last for 5 years, so you can still take 200,000km. So she can’t get around a diesel. Because her budget is limited. 700€ max. (with building pain) 8000. Is the selection not that big. I’ve already informed myself about some models very much. Polo 9N3 1.4 TDI (motor is not necessarily recommended for mileage) Polo 9n3 1.9 TDI/SDI (often very expensive to buy if you are looking for less than 100,000km) Golf V 1.9 TDI (in the Tüvreport super, but very expensive to buy) Renault Clio/Twingo 1.5 dci (not a bad car in itself, but I heard the electronics often makes trouble, drive the Megane 3 1.9 dci) Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci (same problem w he with the Polo 1.4 TDI, In the Tüvreport very good at it) Ford Fiesta 1.6 tdci (good engine etc, so far in the narrow selection, however, the selection is very limited!) Toyota Yaris I 1.4 Diesel (in the Tüv report super cut!) however also not fault-free, if you catch one who has gone through all defects, surely the best small car diesel? Skoda Fabia (no info, but think like Polo) Seat Ibiza (no info, but think like Polo) Seat Leon (no info, but think like Golf) Seat Altea (no info, but think like golf) Which car would you recommend to my friend? At the moment we tend to Toyota Yaris I to 60tkm or Yaris II to 90tkm (in Q-3 the Yaris III appears, maybe then the prices fall? However, we would prefer the Ford Fiesta with the 1.6 engine and low mileage to the Yaris, but only very small offer. We would buy a Golf V 1.9 TDI up to 125,000km already. However, I do not know how maintenance intensive the Gölf e are, had a Golf 3 GT and so only trouble at the end Maybe you can help us to decide Greeting Andreas
