Moin, if it goes to Volvo, then with my V50 2.0 d in 12,000 Km the change of the diesel particle filter is on – with the associated costs (but this should not be the topic…) I drive with my Volvo 35,000 Km per year – a lot of country road and also sometimes highway. Volvo stumply prescribes the change after 120,000 Km, without asking about the driving profile or the age of the car….. With a car with a mileage of 120,000 Km, a change is certainly less commercial than technical thing, but what is at 240,000 or even 360,000 Km, if the cost of the change reaches or even exceeds the time value? Does one then have an economic total damage? Or does the thing fly out and the Volvo leaves us to Africa??? So, is there any experience values concerning the overlay of the change interval? Does it run better – someone could experience a difference between old and new filter? (My given 210Km/h does not reach – would it run “free” after the change?) For corresponding experiences I am grateful….
