Hello forum, as shown in the title above, I am interested in the Kia Stinger and the Hyundai i30N. I drive a Mazda MX-5 ND on my own Now to my question… Since Kia/Hyundai is practically a club, like VW, Audi, Seat etc. belong together and within a group like times and the same engines are offered in different models or have the same basic structure, the question arises to me whether the engines have common features with the above-mentioned models or so The Hyundai and the Kia differ in 5 hp but in the torque and the displacement are both identical. 5 hp can be achieved very easily by different exhaust systems. So why should a group build 2 different engines, which are practically not different in terms of power, torque and displacement?! If someone here knows more, I would be very grateful about answers LG
