Hello Motor-talk people, I will soon be finished with my driver’s license and wonder how it is best to insure a car as a beginner. My situation: I live in Berlin and am 19 years old. I have the problem that my mother with whom I live has no driver’s license. My father lives in England, has a driver’s license and owns a vehicle. My grandmother has no driver’s license, which also lives in Berlin. My grandfather has a foothold. My uncle lives in Munich who owns a driver’s license, but not a car. He drove his own car for a few years. My step-daughter is not married to my uncle, who also lives with him in Munich. She owns a vehicle and a driver’s license. I would like to have the car insured at the HUK-Coburg or at HUK24.de. Now to my question: en: Can I have the car insured on my grandfather and can I then drive the vehicle and enter later in a cheaper SF class? Can I have the car insured on my uncle or steptante, who live in Munich, but the vehicle is run in Berlin and later also take over the SF discount? If so, what would be cheaper? Let the car be insured as a second car and must it be the same insurance? Will I be forced with 240% (1300-1550 € at HUK) a How can you best prove to have driven a vehicle (because of the insurance)? I would be happy if you would leave answers.
