Hello together, here’s a question that has to do with cars and insurances, but it’s about a private stick. I hope, however, that maybe someone can give me a tip. Today, unfortunately, an 8-year-old has “been stuck” at my girlfriend’s vehicle while playing with a big stick. Result is a 4 cm long scratch that goes up to the primer. Since the car is only 1 year old we consider to have the damage repaired – on the other hand, it is “only” a car. Wi r have contacted the boy’s parents and they were also very friendly and have immediately reported the damage to your private liability. This told me that I can drive to Hyundai and they make an estimate which then goes to the insurance and then the car will be repaired after examination. NUN TO THE QUESTION: I can also fictitiously charge like with a classic car sticky light damage – so the car does not have to be repaired and the damage value paid out or is this with a private liability obligation not provided for? lg Sascha
