One always likes to talk about the past. It’s all the better if someone wants to hear it. What would interest me: Brösel (Werner-Zeichner) used to say that you are in jail with one leg if you want to drive a reasonable motorcycle. In the comics there is also a lot to it (“the bar is not a little oginool!”. At some point this must have changed, because what I see on the Harley Days, for example, with an official license plate, mocks some description. Therefore my question: Were there really only machines in the condition ex factory tolerated at that time? Was there no legal Ape Hangers etc.? What kind of anecdotes are there to tell? What problems did one have as a rice burner driver (the one with the slurry pump and the Schuberth golf ball helmet in the comics), only the possibly too loud exhaust?
